Prof. Dr. Suhair Safwat

Suhair Safwat Hashim is an Assistant Professor at the University of Sulaimani/ College of Languages/ Department of English. I worked as an advisor in the department of certificate evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for 7 years. I hold an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Linguistics/ Pragmatics from the University of Baghdad. I have published many researches concerning Pragmatics. I have been teaching Linguistics, Grammar, Phonetics and Phonology, and Semantics at the University of Baghdad, Almustansirya University and Al- Maamoun College since 1999. Now I am a teacher/ Professor at the University of Sulaimani/ College of Languages/ Department of English. I have supervised different PhD and MA theses and dissertations. I am a member in Editorial Board in International Journal of Language and Linguistics and a member in Social Science and Humanities Research Association (SSHRA). I am also a reviewer in Universal Journal of Educational Research.
